Paul Rodgers

2006-2007 was the breakthrough season for Paul, making some amazing performances in the Youth Cup run, partnering Gavin Hoyte at Centre half.

Strong, quick and a committed tackler, Edmonton born Rodgers has also played for England at youth level and worked his way through the ranks as a right back.

He signed Pro terms at the start of the 2007-2008 season and was rewarded by being named in Arsenal’s Champions League Squad getting the number 37 shirt.

The 18 year old will be one of the more experienced players in the Arsenal Reserves squad this term and will look to lead the younger players from the back, he has a fantastic ability of reading the danger and reacting quickly, his strong frame allows him to keep any opposing forward in check.
