Oliver Nicholas

6 foot 2 Centre back Oliver Nicholas made his Under 18s debut this season after playing most of his football last season in the Under 16s. Signing a scholarship deal in January 2008 he will look to push on and become a regular next term.

His giant frame is of a person twice his age, making him excellent in the air and imposing to any striker, but he has more than just his height, also very quick and with the ability to pick out brilliant long range passes should Arsenal need to go long.

Oliver has represented both Ireland and more recently England at International level, before finally chosing to represent England should ge gain future call ups.

Nicholas was a part of the England squad that won the Montaigu Tournament in March 2008, however was injured in the opening group game.
