Gavin Hoyte

Last season saw the brought for Arsenal fan Gavin Hoyte, the aggressive central defender took a staring role, in Steve Bould’s Under 18’s side as they reached the play off’s. He also was a regular in the FA Youth cup side, which was beaten by Man United in the semi-finals.

Blessed with blistering pace. Gavin like brother and first team member Justin rejected athletic’s to be a footballer, with both players plying their trade in defence.

Strong and with an excellent ability to read the game, he gained a place on the first team bench in 2007 in the F.A Cup defeat to Blackburn. However questions have been raised over his temperament, with him often getting booked or sent off for his erratic behaviour.

In September 2007 Gavin signed Pro terms with Arsenal.
