This is not a complaint, just a request. As an avid Arsenal fan residing in the US I am wondering if you could provide some physical information on the players in their profile, such height and weight. This is no indicator of football prowess but is a good stat to know.

I think this is a great site and really puts the official one to shame.I looked at arsenal.com earlier and they have not even got the Bristol result added, let alone the Fulham one! From what I have seen of the lads since getting Arsenal TV, I like the look of Wilshire, Sunu (if he can add product to his workrate), Traore, Thomas, Murphy and obviously Barazite. Shame Lansbury has not been available to see much of. I do not think Gibbs and Randall are good enough for Arsenal.

J.Sanderson, I thought it would be nice if you reported this news as exclusive in your own unique way.
It was announced yesterday during the second half of the match between Spain vs Russia that Nasri will play for Arsenal next season.
As it is known that Wenger is working exclusively as an analyzer for Aljazeera football channel during the European Cup, the reporter of the channel (Al Akdar Blreesh) asked Wenger if Nasri will come to Arsenal next season and Wenger confirmed it to him (thats what the reporter said).
Wenger was trying to avoid giving any confirmation to the reporter when he was asked the same question during the France vs Romania match, but in the end it seems he surrendered as the channel needs some exclusive news from Wenger who is working for it.
Wenger also confirmed before the France vs Romania match that Arsenal will not pursue Benzima as he is so expensive, and he doesn’t like to spend such amounts on one player.
Note: I didn’t hear Wenger saying that,I just read it posted on a forum, and a lot of the guys said that they heard it too from Aljazeera football Channel.
anyway here is the link of the news (it is written in Arabic Language):

J.,
Do not understand why J. Emmanuel Thomas has not been selected for any of the u-21, u-19, or u-18 set-ups. He clearly seems to have the skill for one of those teams if not all three. And you would think he’s more than known to the three respective coaching staffs. What is it that has kept him out of the youth national set-up. Has he ever been selected for the national team at any youth level?

Hi J,
Reports this morning suggest that we are after the young Brazilian Coutinho who has been described as the next Kaka. From the video footage of him, he seems more like a Robinho type player, small with plenty of tricks. I was just wondering though if you know what the current situation is with the young Brazilian striker, Wellington. After scoring four in a trial match against Norwich it was expected that he’d sign for us on his 16th birthday. If you know what is happening regarding Wellington or if any one else knows I’d be interested to find out?

I’m a hungarian Arsenal fan and going to go to London 5th December.
My question is how far the youngsters’ ground from Emirates Stadium? Is it possible to go 11 am Arsenal – Chelsea U18 Academy League match and after that catch the Premier Leauge in Emirates 5 pm? So we maybe have got only 2 hours after the youth game…will it be enough? Thanks for your help!

Hello. I’m a United fan from Denmark, just want to say that this is a very good site, despite being an Arsenal site
And I can tell you that Arsenal have invited a 11 years old Dane at trial. The young boy was at a football camp in England this summer, and impressed the Arsenal scouts. So they have invited him to a trial later this year.
His name is Daniel Skov, and is born in 1998. He plays for a little club in the North of Denmark called Helsinge, and also trains 3 times per week with FC Nordsjælland in the best Danish League. He has a brilliant tecnic and a great vision for the game.
Of course he is to young to leave Denmark and his family, but who knows what the future brings..
I know this, as I’m involved in coaching at the same club.. Cheers
