Pedro Botelho
In the summer 2007 Arsenal signed Brazilian midfield Pedro Roberto Silva Botelho from Figueirense for a fee of around £1 millon.
A tall classy skillful left sided player, he can play left back, left midfield, central midfield or even as a left sided striker in a 4-3-3 formation, also very good on set pieces, both taking and getting on the end of them.
In December 2007 Pedro turned 18 and he came over to train during the Winter break getting to know his team mates better, he also featured during our open training sessions at the Emirates.
Now he is 18 he can finally link up with UD Salamanca, and has featured at both left back and left wing, he has also taken over the Mantle of the Spanish outfit’s set-piece expert.
