45. James Dunne

In every team there is the flair players, the classy play-makers who make things happen, James is the opposite, he helps breaks up opposition attacks with aggressive and tenacious tackles.
A few eyebrow’s were raised when Dunne was given a pro contract in September of 2007 after an up and down season of good performances and some very average ones, but Manager Neil Banfield obviously values his versatility playing him in a hole host of positions, normally a central midfielder, he played in the F.A Youth Cup run on the right of midfield, returning to the centre for Under 18s games.
This season has seen him play more of a anchor role breaking up attacks before giving the ball to the more creative Lansbury and Randall.

He’s actually quite good. Great tackler with a very strong physical presance, good passer, very powerful shot and decent in the air, his only problem is that very rarely does he manage to put that all together in games. Its not lack of abiliy that sets him back from the other numerious midfeild talents we have, its lack of completness in his game, he has all the nessesary pieces to make a great defencive midfeilder, now all he needs to do is learn to give his complete performance and stop showing glipses of promise.
