Coming January 2009 – The Young Guns Podcast

Young Guns is delighted to announce that it will be producing a weekly downloadable podcast in the New Year.
Regular readers will know we tried something similar earlier this year, and after its great reception, we have decided it will become a full time feature. Rather than myself appearing, we’ve drafted in Niall Kent as host, who will liaise with you to bring weekly discussions and updates on all things Arsenal Youth.
Player Profiles, Match Previews & Reports, News Updates and Interviews are just a flavour of some of the things you can expect.
You can get involved by sending in your voice clips and views via e-mail, or you can even do it by contacting me on MSN Messenger – and we’ll put it all together and include you in our update.
The plan is that the cast will come out on Saturday’s, with all submissions expected in by Wednesday afternoon. It will become a professional feature, and we will add contact details on how you can get involved in the due course.
In the meantime, if you would be kind enough to leave your opinions on the idea, along with suggestions and features you’d like to see, we would be very grateful.
Merry Christmas to you all, and have a fantastic 2009.

Hi. Opinions and analysis will be good. E.g. what players you think have good future, what they can improve on etc.

interviews with youth players would be greatly appreciated if that would be at all possible. I think you should also talk in depth about one player in each podcast or something like that. You could do youth players, U-16 players even, former players (where are the now?) or players that have been linked. Also talking to supporters of our link clubs and get their view on how our loanees are doing. You’ve done that with Salamanca at least. I would very much like to hear the opinions of Derby supporters on how Barazite is doing, how he is thought of as a team mate and so on. It would be especially insightful for us foreign supporters that don’t know as much about the club culture as English supporters might.
But a great idea mate. Can’t wait to hear it.

hi all its was good match on sunday but then our problem has always been glaring but we just dont do anything about it.
1. we need 2 natural wingers a rigth and left, so we can stop stifling denilson, nasri, diaby and sometimes eboue. our kind of play demands space and expression and witout our wings we got none especially at theis moment. look at the likes of downing or morten gamst/silva with arsenal on the left and some one like a jeuss navas or the likes on the rigth that naturally gives us width and space when we play against a crowded midfield then instead of metamorphosizing dennilson ar any other person i believe a striker could be more dangerous on the wings when he is young i am making a case for jay simpson.then we would find our balance and not complain of song anymore the guy is terrific just needs a bit more push and help when he wins the ball no one to give it too why/ lack of width. that said we also need we all jnow a CB. then almunia is great i dnt see why we need to sell him. till then pls JS can u get to M onsuier and tell him this. take care all much love fromNigeria.

Quality idea.
Match highlights? Briefer than the ones on ATVO just showing the main highlights.
And then maybe in a while a Vodcast? Cor, thats moving up in the world.
Anyway, keep up the excellent work on the site and Merry Christmas.
